Application does not look right due to incorrect video driver.
Cause:
Installed video driver is outdated or incorrect for this application.
Solution:
Install updated or correct video driver.
1) Do one of the following to verify that the latest driver for the video card is installed:
a) Edit AUTOEXEC.BAT in MS-DOS:
1] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2] Select 'Programs' and select 'MS-DOS Prompt'. (The 'MS-DOS Prompt' window appears.)

NOTE: The MS-DOS Prompt window may be full-screen instead of a window. Press ALT+ENTER to toggle between full-screen and windowed-mode.
3] Type these commands at the DOS prompt and press ENTER after each command:
CD..
COPY C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT C:\AUTOEXEC.OLD
EDIT C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
4] Use the arrow keys to move to the line(s) that need to be changed.
5] Add new command lines or edit existing lines to install the correct driver for the video card and display unit.
6] Review all changes, checking for correct spelling and command syntax.
7] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save'.

8] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Exit'.
9] Type the following at the DOS prompt and press ENTER to return to Windows:
EXIT
10] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
11] Select 'Shut Down...'. (The 'Shut Down Windows' dialog box appears.)
12] Select the 'Restart the computer' radio button and click 'Yes'.

b) Edit AUTOEXEC.BAT in Windows:
1] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2] Select 'Programs', 'Accessories', 'Notepad'. (A blank document appears.)
3] In Notepad, select the 'File' menu and select 'Open...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
4] In the 'Filename' box, type the following:
C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
5] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save As...'. (The 'Save As' dialog box appears.)
6] Type the following in the 'Filename' box:
C:\AUTOEXEC.OLD
7] Click 'Save'.
8] Use the arrow keys to move line(s) that need to be changed.
9] Add new command lines or edit existing lines to install the correct driver for the video card and display unit.
10] Review all changes, checking for correct spelling and command syntax.
11] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save As...'. (The 'Save As' dialog box appears.)
12] In the 'Filename' box, type the following:
C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
13] Click 'Save'.
14] Select the 'File' menu and select 'Exit'.
15] Restart Windows 95.
2) Do the following to change the video display driver:
NOTE: It is recommended that Windows 95-compatible display drivers be used to derive full benefits of Windows 95 features. Contact the driver manufacturer for the latest display drivers.
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
c) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)

d) Click the 'Settings' tab.
e) Click 'Change Display Type...'. (The 'Change Display Type' dialog box appears.)

f) Click 'Change...' in the 'Adapter Type' group. (The 'Select Device' dialog box appears.)
g) Do one of the following:
1] Select a compatible driver for the list:
a] Select the 'Show compatible devices' radio button.
b] Select a device.
c] Click 'OK'.
2] Install a manufacturer-supplied display driver:
a] Insert the manufacturer-supplied disk into the appropriate floppy drive.
b] Click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)
c] Type the letter of the drive the diskette is inserted into and the command to start the installation program.
NOTE: For the correct command to start the installation program, consult the user's manual that came with the display and/or adapter card.
d] Click 'OK'.
3] Install a Windows 3.1x display driver:
NOTE: This is not recommended. Many display features of Windows 95 are not supported by Windows 3.1x drivers.
h) Click 'Close' to close the 'Change System Settings' dialog box.
i) Click 'Close' to close the 'Display Properties' dialog box. (The 'System Settings Change' dialog box appears.)
j) Click 'Yes' to restart the computer and for changes to take effect.
